Its only one update, it won't take long". Let's be serious. I have nothing incredibly important or insightful to say on a day to day basis, and when I do, I'm never sitting down at this computer. I digress. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">So this time, I want to tell you about me. Not because I think everyone should know about me, but because if you are here, you have seen my portfolio, and chances are you still don't know who I am.</span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">I will be graduating from North Dakota State University (Go Bison) in a few weeks, with a degree in Business Administration and an emphasis in Marketing. My love for web design comes from within. Not just that cliche "within" that people say because they have heart or a passion for bright colors. I mean, I have never had any formal training in design tools, website design, HTML, CSS, or any other technical requirement that designers usually have. I am self taught. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">The good part of being self taught is that I have had the opportunity to do it all. I know marketing strategies, advertising techniques, and a managerial business sense. On top of that, I have been able to extensively research design tools, learn from some of the best designers over the web, and practice these techniques with a grueling attention to detail at my own pace. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">But why do you need to know all of this about me? Because there are few people who can do it all... and I take pride in being one of them. I thrive in situations where I need to find the best design that fits a powerful brand. I love spending hours defining a user experience that enhances the client's ability to convert browsers to buyers. Further, I can provide solutions before is a problem. Its effectiveness, and I can't get enough of it. </span><br /><br /><span style="font-family:arial;">So if you are reading this as a friend or relative, thank you. You have inspired me in one way or another, and I owe you much of what I am. If you are reading this as an employer, give me a chance to show you what I can do.
